How to Proceed
As a first step, contact your utility provider. Some providers, like Duke Energy, may have an extensive rebate program for clean energy investments. Other providers may have yet to establish an established program, but they can direct you to trusted developers in your region who can help implement your project.

Utility Providers
Begin with the companies/organizations recommend by your utility provider. Ask contractors about the dollar energy savings and KWh savings achieved from the proposed project. This, along with the recommendation from your utility provider, will help you decide between the companies.
